Moxxi's Slot Machine Trick Borderlands 3

  • You can get some good guns from the slot machines. 3 out of the 4 guns I use came from the slot machine, I've gotten 2 purple guns, 5 blues and a shit ton of greens. And a lot of the same tediore customer service class mod. Also if you line up three of those vault symbols on the middle row in the slot machine you get an orange weapon.
  • I got 3 hearts in a row in Moxxi's slot machine There's been a bit of speculation on if there is a red weapon type rarity from getting 3 hearts in a row as indicated from the chart above the slot machines in Moxxi's bar, and I can safely say there isn't.

You gotta go back after Rhys opens the forcefields shortly before the boss fight. I believe it's past a one-way fall so you have to start at the beginning of the level.

Borderlands 3 Moxxi's Heist of the Handsome Jackpot has brought a new collection of legendary weapons to the game.

This includes the Jakobs pistol Lucky 7 is the closest to a slot machine a gun can get, while ION CANNON is very deserving of its capital letters.

You could also receive the Boomer SMG, which is explosive as its sounds, or the Torgue pistol, Craps. There are also four new legendary class mods, one for each Vault Hunter, and a new legendary shield for you to hunt down.

How to get Lucky 7, ION CANNON, Boomers, Craps and other legendary Guns in Borderlands 3 Moxxi's Heist of the Handsome Jackpot

There are 12 new legendary guns introduced in Borderlands 3 Moxxi's Heist of the Handsome Jackpot.

Each new weapon has its own set of bonuses, effects and maybe even a special ability. Lucky 7, for example, has a slot machine mechanic, which randomly decides what effect your bullets might have.

All of these weapons, except for the ION CANNON, can be dropped randomly by any enemy within The Jackpot. This is, however, a rare occurrence and you're more likely to receive the gun by defeating the boss or mini-boss whose loot pool it's been assigned too.

Below you'll find a list of all the legendary guns exclusive to Borderlands 3 Moxxi's Heist of the Handsome Jackpot, including their special abilities and which enemy is more likely to drop them:

Legendary Class Mods found in Borderlands 3 Moxxi's Heist of the Handsome Jackpot

There are four new class mods - one for each Vault Hunter - in Borderlands 3 Moxxi's Heist of the Handsome Jackpot.

Each class mod has its own special effect and a variety of bonuses, which could be anything from increasing your Vault Hunter's Max Health to a specific type of weapon damage.

Best of all, however, each class mod will provide five bonus skill points across a set of skills. This will allow you to invest in skills that you passed up on while levelling up.

Like with the majority of the legendary guns, there is a rare chance that one of these class mods will be randomly dropped by any enemy within The Jackpot. Each class mod, however, is assigned to the Jackbot's loot pool, which is the final boss of this DLC.

How to find the legendary Rico shield in Borderlands 3 Moxxi's Heist of the Handsome Jackpot

The Rico shield is the only legendary shield in Borderlands 3 Moxxi's Heist of the Handsome Jackpot.

You receive this shield by completing All Bets Off, the final mission of Moxxi's Heist of the Handsome Jackpot.

Like the name suggests, this shield is all about reflecting the bullets and projectiles that are sent towards you. This includes both when the shield is in use and when it's not.

It will also drop Fortify Charges, which give you a 10% Damage Reduction, and returns a large amount of damage to any one who dares try to melee you.

Max Moxxi makes her return debut in Borderlands 3, and she’s still got all the spice you remember from previous games. You’ll find her tending bar and slinging casino chips in her corner of Sanctuary III, your space-faring home-away-from-home. If you’ve got the cash, there’s a funny little Easter egg and achievement / trophy you can unlock that’s all about donating.

This returning secret was first discovered in Borderlands 2. While it isn’t quite the same, you’ll still get a gun for donating a certain amount of cash to Moxxi’s tip jar. If you keep donating, the guns might just be random, but at least one of them you’ll get every single time. Learn all about this mysterious tip jar in the full guide below.

Get Secret Guns From Moxxi’s Tip Jar | ‘Tips Appreciated’ Guide

To get this extremely gaudy gun, you’ll need to save up your scratch and start donating to Moxxi’s Tip Jar. You’ll find the Tip Jar in Moxxi’s Bar in the Sanctuary III ship.

You’ll unlock the ship early in the game — after completing a few areas on Pandora, you’ll be off to Promethea. To get there, Lilith will show you the fabulous Sanctuary III, where all your old quest-giving pals will hang out together.

When you interact with Moxxi’s Tip Jar, you can donate different amounts. No matter how much you donate, you’ll earn the ‘Tips Appreciated‘ achievement / trophy for giving anything at all. In the same room, you can also earn the ‘Dropping Loads‘ achievement / trophy for playing the slot machine until a live grenade pops out.

But, if you’re interested in getting this unique gun, you’ll need a lot of money. You have to donate 30,000 cash — and it only works if you donate in 1,000 increments. Basically, donate 1,000 bucks 30 times and this fancy, fashionable weapon will pop out.

There are more guns you can find here if you’re willing to keep donating. This is just a weird little secret for dedicated Vault Hunters. The gun ain’t half bad either.
